“Her children arise and call her blessed”
Proverbs 31:28
This week my daughter and I will be doing some homemade crafts to celebrate all of the mothers in our lives. I compiled a few ideas that I thought would be fun on my Pinterest Board (click link for some inspiration)
Here are some examples of pins I hope to try:
There are so many thoughtful ways to shower a mother with love on a budget. It is as simple as allowing your little one to create a beautifully painted masterpiece and adding some kind words or poems on them.
Here are just a few poems that I found for such a craft:
“Mothers (or Grandmothers) hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever”
Unknown
“There are few things more powerful than the faithful prayers of a righteous mother.”
Boyd K. Packer
“Motherhood: All love begins and ends there”
Robert Browning
The Bible offers us many scriptures about mothers. The opening scripture is among my favorite,
“Her children arise and call her blessed”
Proverbs 31:28
Whatever you decide to do, however you decide to celebrate. I pray that all of the mothers in your life feel encouraged, loved, celebrated and special on this Mother’s Day.
Happy Crafting!
Always,
Misty
